DAVE JOHNSON, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Chaos, but controlled chaos — whether at home with two crazy toddlers, or successfully navigating multiple real estate transactions. This is the life of Dave Johnson. For over 5 years now, Dave has been a top Global Real Estate Advisor, Broker Associate, with Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty in Northern Nevada. Integrity, expertise, negotiation skills, and fun when possible for all involved are all words that describe Dave by past clients, associates, and friends alike.  Plus Dave is the Executive Director of WIN and has been with WIN since 2021.

Prior to embarking on his Real Estate career, Dave was a popular morning news anchor, rated #1, on our local Good Morning Reno, KOLO 8. During that time, Dave formed strong relationships with local vendors, business owners, politicians and everyday people in the community. Dave realized early on the power of Social Media and connecting with the public. Dave now uses his strong social media presence along with his skills in videography to introduce all properties he represents to both his following as well as the expansive network of Sales Associates working with Sotheby’s International Realty (26,000+). A strong marketing plan for each client is what Dave enjoys most and has proven successful time and time again through his closed Real Estate sales. Dave has many accolades under his belt, being awarded Homesnap’s ‘Most Viewed Agent’ as well as earning Certified Real Estate Negotiator (CREN) and represents CARTUS as a Relocation Expert assisting with families either moving to the Silver State or out of the region for their jobs.

When Dave is not in our Reno location working hard for clients or watching his hometown teams, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Royals, Dave spends his time with his amazing family. During his time as the morning news anchor, Dave met his now wife, Sarah Johns, the evening news anchor for KOLO 8. They have been married for 7 years and Sarah has a successful career as President & CEO of Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (NCET) which similar to Dave’s career, serves our local Northern Nevada community by promoting entrepreneurship and technology commercialization. Dave & Sarah have 2 children, Zac who is now 6 years old and loves dinosaurs and baseball and Stella, enjoying life at the age of 4, is obsessed with unicorns and dance class.

And have no fear Northern Nevadans.. Dave has now adopted the Nevada Wolf Pack and Reno Aces as some of his favorite teams to root on.
